Immo Off in the DSG gearbox firmware
Immo Off is for a mechatronic unit fitted to another car. The immobilizer stays inside the firmware, so the unit will not accept the new car until it is switched off and that car's VIN is written. The site does both from your flash and EEPROM.
Which gearboxes
DQ200, DQ250, DQ381 and DQ500. The DQ200 also needs Gen 1 or Gen 2. DL501, DL382, DQ400 and VL381 are not in this form.
What you upload
Two files from your own readout: flash and EEPROM. Someone else's catalog file is not a substitute for your dump. The VIN in the form is the car the unit is fitted to.
Price and the result
30 €. After payment the archive downloads from the button and a copy is sent by email. You do not edit the dump by hand.
Where to do this
A firmware file from the catalog or by VIN costs 20 €. Immo Off together with the VIN change costs 30 €. The download button appears after payment and a copy is sent by email. If that version is not in the database, there is no button. Before writing, match the software number and version to the unit label.
Short answers
Does this remove the car's immobilizer?
No. It switches off the immobilizer inside the gearbox unit firmware when that unit is moved to another car.
Is a catalog file included?
No. A catalog firmware file is a separate purchase at 20 €.
How many files do I upload?
Two: flash and EEPROM.
