Gen 1 and Gen 2 on the DQ200
In the Immo Off form the generation switch exists only for the DQ200. Choose Gen 1 for 0AM software and Gen 2 for 0CW. DQ250, DQ381 and DQ500 do not have that switch.
Where the generation comes from
From the number on the label, or from the software in the readout. If you are unsure, do not pay until the number is checked: the wrong generation produces a result you cannot use.
The catalog separates them too
0AM and 0CW files both sit in the DQ200 filter, on different pages. Searching one does not substitute the other.
Service price
Immo Off for the generation you chose is 30 €. A catalog file, if you also need one, is paid separately.
Where to do this
A firmware file from the catalog or by VIN costs 20 €. Immo Off together with the VIN change costs 30 €. The download button appears after payment and a copy is sent by email. If that version is not in the database, there is no button. Before writing, match the software number and version to the unit label.

Is MQB always Gen 2?
The guide is the number 0CW, not only the word MQB on the car.
Can I change generation after payment?
Choose it before you start. If you are unsure, write to support@dsgsoft.com.ua before paying.
Do other gearboxes have a Gen choice?
No.
