The firmware file: BIN, flash, EEPROM
Workshops often call a gearbox firmware a BIN. In a DSGSOFT set the file page names the actual parts: flash, internal EEPROM, external EEPROM, full backup. Not every download is a single .bin file.
What to check before paying
The included-files list on the file page shows the names and sizes. If the part you need is not in this set, a different software number will not replace it.
BIN does not mean a tune
It is an image of the original contents for a repair. The site does not sell stage files.
Price
20 € for that version's set, on the page and by email after payment.
Where to do this
A firmware file from the catalog or by VIN costs 20 €. Immo Off together with the VIN change costs 30 €. The download button appears after payment and a copy is sent by email. If that version is not in the database, there is no button. Before writing, match the software number and version to the unit label.
Short answers
Is it always one .bin?
No. The contents are listed on that file's page.
Is EEPROM always included?
Only when this set contains it. You can see that before paying.
Where do I search?
The catalog by software number, or the VIN on the homepage.
