DSG firmware for a unit repair
DSG firmware is the gearbox control-unit file, not an engine tune. Workshops need it when the mechatronic unit will not read, after a failed write, or when a replacement unit has to go back to the factory software.
Where the number comes from
If the unit label can be read, open the catalog and enter the software number, for example 0AM300065G, or the number plus the version. If there is no label, the VIN on the homepage is enough: the system shows the software number and the version list. The current one is marked.
What arrives after payment
A file from the catalog or the VIN search costs 20 €. After payment it downloads from the button on the page and a copy is sent by email. If that exact version is not in the database, there is no download button. No registration is required.
Before writing it to the unit
Match the software number and version to the label. Do not write a file with different numbers into this unit. DSGSOFT does not flash the unit for the workshop and does not sell tuned files.
